The Hall of Fame recognizes outstanding alumni who have successful careers and civic contributions, Bob Jones Principal Robby Parker said.

Will Atkinson (Class of 1994) coaches softball at the University of West Alabama, where he is completing a master’s degree. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Lambuth University. Atkinson volunteers with Friends of Jaclyn Foundation, which introduces children with brain tumors to college athletes.

Bobby Hagood (Class of 1981) received a bachelor’s degree in accounting at Athens State University and then earned CPA status. He directs finances for Athens City Schools. Since 1997, he has coached softball for recreation leagues, travel clubs and at Liberty Middle School.

Chris Kline (Class of 2005) has served as a varsity football coach since 2002. He has traveled with The Inspirations, a special needs choir. Kline received the Madison City Advocacy Board’s Inspiration Award. “On Course” magazine published a cover feature about his human video drama.

Frank Sadler worked as a teacher and head football coach at Bob Jones from 1994 to 2000. He led the team from a one-win season to statewide recognition. “Coach Sadler embodied academics first through his exemplary model and leadership for every student athlete, not only football players,” Parker said.

Maj. Nathan Underwood (Class of 1989) has served in the military since 1998 and is a veteran of the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. He earned a bachelor’s degree at Athens State and a master’s degree at Auburn University Montgomery. Underwood volunteers at Space Camp, for Special Olympics.

Hall of Fame Inductees will ride as grand marshals in the homecoming parade on Oct. 10 and recognized at halftime during the Bob Jones Patriots versus Sparkman High School Senators game on Oct. 11, Parker said.
