MADISON – Madison Street Festival organizers will accept online registration for booth spaces starting April 15.

Vendors can register until the August 15 deadline. “If you’re a vendor and want to be a part of this year’s fun, sign-up for a booth today at madisonstreetfestival.org,” publicity co-chairman Sharon Holcombe said.

Festival organizers will assign booths on a first-come, first-served basis.

In its 34th year, the Madison Street Festival returns to the historic downtown district on Oct. 4. “The festival kicks off with the big, fun sounds of a parade with marching bands, floats, performers and miles of smiles,” Holcombe said.

The downtown area will be blocked off in sections for original works of art, muscle cars, singers, animals, a balloon magician and “kiddie fun. We’ll also have live entertainment throughout the day, with some of the best food served up in the South,” Holcombe said.

Gourmet food trucks will be new to the festival this year.

“The Madison Street Festival has something for everybody. Best of all, it’s free,” she said.

The festival’s mailing address is P.O. Box 1037, Madison, AL 35758. For more information, visit madisonstreetfestival.org or Facebook/Madison Street Festival.
