Family of the Year nominations due July 21

Nominations for the 2014-15 Madison Family of the Year are due July 21 at www.madisonfoty.org. Application deadlines and the selection process will be handled at later dates.
“MFOTY recognizes those families in our community that maintains exceptional traits, support activities and programs which make the City of Madison a quality place to live,” the city’s website states. “The City of Madison, Alabama is nationally recognized as one of the Top 10 Places to Grow Up in America. Our families and residents are the foundation of our community’s success.”
The award was started in 1996. The current Madison Family of the Year is the Cook family. More information can be accessed at madisonal.gov under the “Our Community” tab.
