Columbia continues Curriculum Night sessions this week

MADISON – Teachers and staff at Columbia Elementary School are welcoming parents to Informational Curriculum Night sessions this week.

During the hour-long meetings, teachers will inform parents about subject matter in the child’s grade, grade-level procedures, homework policies, discipline procedures and tentative field trips.

Parents of first-graders will meet on Aug. 12 from 6 to 7 p.m. Parents should go to their child’s classroom. On Aug. 13, fifth-grade parents will gather from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the library.

Third-grade parents will meet on Aug. 14 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the students’ classrooms. On Aug. 18 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., parents with fourth-graders will report to the library.

On Aug. 19, sixth-grade parents will assemble in the library from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. Parents of second-grade students will meet on Aug. 28 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the library.
