Cathy Thatcher Gireth December 17, 1958 – August 17, 2014

Cathy Thatcher Gireth, age 55, passed away Sunday, August 17th, 2014 at her home in Huntsville, Alabama. Cathy was predeceased by her father and mother, Harry and Jean Thatcher. Cathy was survived by her husband, Mark Gireth, and daughters, Katelyn Morgan and Chelsea Rogers. Cathy was also survived by three grandchildren, Kennady Morgan, Ella Morgan, and Houston Rogers. Cathy was survived by one sister, Terry Strotman, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Services were held at The Brook Church in Madison, Alabama on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 6 p.m. with visitation began at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a donation be made to The Brook Church Mission Fund.
