Women’s job corps to host free breakfast to identify prospective students

MADISON – The Christian Women’s Job Corps of Madison County Inc. is hosting a breakfast to identify students who can take advantage of classes in Madison.

The breakfast will be held at the site for classes, Inside-Out Ministries at 103 Gin Oaks Court in Madison on Nov. 6 from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. “Join us for breakfast on the way to the office,” corps site coordinator Susan Elder said.

“We plan to hold a very short, informative breakfast to help identify potential students and provide information about the program at the new Madison site,” Elder said. Christian Women’s Job Corps conducts free classes ranging from money management, career planning, Bible study to Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Reservation deadline for breakfast is Oct. 27. For reservations, email to selder@cwjc.net.

Christian Women’s Job Corps is a free, faith-based job-readiness program designed to provide experiences and skills that allow graduates to compete in the job market and create brighter futures.

The corps’ office hours are Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, call 256-886-2280 or visit cwjc.net.
