MADISON – The Madison Chamber of Commerce wants your selfies.

Local small businesses do, as well.

For two weeks leading up to the nationwide promotion of small businesses, Small Business Saturday, the local Chamber has organized a social media promotion running until Nov. 29.

To participate, the Chamber wants selfies posted on the Madison Chamber of Commerce’s wall on Facebook. The selfie must include a sign that reads “Shop Small” and must be taken at a Madison small business.

People whose posts garner the most likes will be eligible for prizes, and the business with the most activity on the Chamber’s wall will get a free membership to the Chamber for a year.

If the business is already a member, the yearly renewal fee will be waived.
