West Madison PTA invites vendors for spring carnival

MADISON – Carnival time is just around the corner at West Madison Elementary School. The carnival offers a sales venue for local businesses and entrepreneurs.

The West Madison Spring Carnival will be held on April 11 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

West Madison PTA is organizing the event. “So far, we have a good amount of vendors and food trucks lined up,” PTA President Angie Enderton said.

PTA volunteers are asking vendors and businesses to reserve booth space for $20 and then give back 10 percent of sales to West Madison. “Please consider donating to such an important part of our community. We cannot do this alone,” Enderton said.

“As you know, Madison is a thriving community, and our schools provide impeccable facilities, programs and staff that support the children living here,” Enderton said. “West Madison PTA strives to raise money for the betterment of our entire school.”

To-date, sales vendors include Thirty-One Gifts, Scentsy, It Works, Jamberry, Pampered Chef, D Smith Woodcraft, Perfectly Posh, Wreath with Southern Charm, Chalky Life, Wee Lasses and Lads, Mary Kay, Horse Riding Program, Paparazzi Jewelry, Velata, Origami Owl, Purses n Things, Younique, The Irish Crafter, The Irishman’s Princess and Mia Bella Candles.

Food and beverage vendors who have committed to attend the festival thus far are Piper & Leaf, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Cafe on Wheels Neon Lilly and Badd Newz BBQ.

After completing fundraisers, the PTA gives proceeds to the staff, teachers and administration “as they work to educate our children,” she said. “The monetary support provided by PTA is not only an invaluable benefit for West Madison but also for the entire community.”

Donations are tax-deductible.

“Help us increase awareness of how we as parents and businesses can provide a voice and a hand in our children’s future,” Enderton said.
