Madison Police investigating fatal wreck

A fatal early-morning traffic accident that occurred near the intersection of Wall-Triana Highway and Gillespie Road is under investigation by the Madison Police Department.

The accident happened at approximately 4:30 a.m. March 26, according to the brief issued by the department. Nixle alerts were sent out at 4:51 a.m. notifying the public about the accident, and the roads were cleared at 5:47, according to a subsequent notification.

Madison police are not issuing any further information at the moment.
