Donations requested for first responders event

By Nick Sellers

The Madison Chamber of Commerce is seeking donations for a celebration event on April 11 for Madison’s first responders.

Mayor Troy Trulock and the City of Madison is putting on a special event for the City’s first responders and their families at the Hogan Family YMCA on Saturday, and the Chamber is accepting donations from business or companies such as pens or koozies to distribute. Gift cards are also encouraged.

The Chamber will greatly appreciate any donations on or before Friday, April 10. Items can be dropped off at the Chamber’s office inside the YMCA at 130 Park Square Lane in Madison.
