MADISON COUNTY – Triana Mayor Mary Caudle has been elected president of the Board of Directors for the Community Action Partnership (CAP) of Huntsville/Madison and Limestone Counties for the 2015-2016 fiscal year.

Caudle continues to live in her hometown of Triana. As mayor since 2008, Caudle has presided over some of the town’s most dramatic transformations. New construction of homes and rehabilitation of historic structures are transforming Triana’s look.

CAP chief executive officer Dr. Leroy Gradford said the partnership has a new focus and direction on helping to provide affordable, quality housing options. Caudle has worked in this arena and committed to community growth and improved quality of life.

“Her leadership on our board couldn’t have come at a better time,” Gradford said.

Previously, Caudle served on the Triana Town Council for four years. Using 16 years of experience in the medical field, she founded Assist Practice Management Services LLC, which provides consulting, revenue management and collection assistance services to health clinics, hospitals and private physician offices.

In addition, Caudle works as Corporate Director of Patient Accounts for Sequel Youth and Family Service LLC.

“As a community servant and proud citizen of Madison County, I am excited with this new opportunity to continue to serve the community I have grown up in and love,” Caudle said. The partnership “has a very long and successful record of providing resources and support to the Huntsville/Madison and Limestone County communities.”

“I’m proud to help lead the organization as it strives to meet its mission ‘to enhance the quality of life … and to move low-income people towards self-sufficiency,'” Caudle said.

Caudle also serves on the board of directors of Top of Alabama Regional Council of Governments (TARCOG) and Metropolitan Planning Organization for Huntsville/ Madison Counties. She was elected to serve as vice president and then president of North Alabama Mayors Association.

Caudle has three children and four grandchildren.
