MADISON- Hometown Lenders/First Family Mortgage has partnered with Bob Jones High School to bring one of the premier Boys’ Thanksgiving Basketball Tournaments in the Southeastern United States to the City of Madison, Alabama.

This year’s N2HOOPS Invitational is set for November 23-25, 2015 on the campus of Bob Jones High School. The tournament will feature high profile teams from Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi, and Georgia. Among the local teams playing will be Bob Jones, Hazel Green, Sparkman, and Grissom. Teams in Alabama can start practice Oct. 19.

The new bleacher seating will be finished and in place by tournament time. The newly renovated Bob Jones main gym and auxilary gym will be used.

The area has been without a basketball tournament since the Sportsmed Shootout ceased several years ago. That tournament was played at the VBS.

“Hometown Lenders/First Family Mortgage is proud to support this tournament because of the unparalleled opportunities it provides for student/athletes” said Hometown Lenders representative John Kendall in a press release.

Bob Jones Athletic Director Luther Tiggs was a key player in making the tournament a reality.

“The N2HOOPS Invitational tournament will provide teams with the unique opportunity to compete in front of major college scouts and test their skills against other top-ranked schools they normally would not compete against during the regular season. Competition will be fierce from top to bottom” said tournament director Tiggs.

Student tickets will be $3 and adult tickets $5 per day.  Link to the bracket is below.
