MADISON – Employees of Signalink Inc. recently presented a donation to CASA (Care Assurance System for the Aging and Homebound) of Madison County.

Signalink Serves, a component within the Signalink organization, was able to present a check to CASA Executive Director Ann Anderson.

Founded in 1979, CASA provides services to the local elderly population and homebound individuals.

This year, Signalink’s contributions totaled over $2,000 to CASA. “Helping with CASA really hit home for me,” Christa Sinyard, Human Resources Lead at Signalink, said. “I assist my grandmother with many things and it made me realize some folks out there don’t have the support system they need.”

Heath Oliver, Business Operations Manager at Signalink, said that not only did these projects increase awareness of the local non-profit organizations but allowed Signalink to give back to the community for which they are so grateful.

“Signalink Inc. is not only a veteran-owned, small business that is known as a cost effective and technical solutions provider but is also an advocate of community volunteering and giving as well,” Facility Security Officer Alice Lessmann said.

The Signalink Serves component “also sponsors many local schools and other outreach programs. Signalink is proudly celebrating their 10-year anniversary,” Lessmann said.

In October, Signalink employees volunteered with CASA to build a ramp for a homebound elderly individual in Hazel Green.

Founded in 2006, Signalink has core competencies in infrastructure, integration, interoperability, cyber security and software engineering. The company promotes volunteering and giving and is committed to supporting non-profit organizations that help communities thrive.

Signalink Serves was developed within Signalink Inc. to better focus on this initiative.

Signalink’s address is 1286 Slaughter Road in Madison. For more information, call 256-715-6744 or visit signalink.net, Facebook/signalinkinc, Linkedin or Twitter @signalinkinc.
