Madison City Schools cancels outdoor, night events

MADISON – Madison City Schools has canceled all outdoor, after-school activities for Tuesday, Feb. 9.
In addition, all indoor, after-school activities must conclude by 6 p.m. “Anything previously scheduled for beyond 6 p.m. is cancelled,” Director of Student Services Dennis James said.
“This will not affect extended-day services at our elementary schools. As always, we ask that you stay weather aware and drive with caution,” James said.
