MADISON – Public testing of voting machines for the City of Madison’s general municipal election and subsequent run-off election (if required) has been scheduled.

Voting machines for the Aug. 23 election will be tested on Aug. 17 at 10 a.m. in the Grant Building basement, 115 Washington St. in Huntsville.

If a runoff election is required, the voting machines for the Oct. 4 runoff will be tested on Sept. 28 at 10 a.m., also in the Grant Building.

The testing is open to the public, press and any interested parties, according to Madison City Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Williard.
