Three men charged in armed robberies
MADISON – Madison Police Department has charged three individuals with armed robberies that have occurred recently in the city.
On July 21 at approximately 10 a.m., Jersey Mike’s sandwich shop at 8000 Madison Blvd. was robbed at gunpoint.
Then, on Aug. 1 at approximately 3:40 p.m., the International Market at 8006 Old Madison Pike was robbed at gunpoint. A customer in the business at International Market was robbed as well.
On August 2, officers with Huntsville Police Department apprehended three suspects in a robbery at the Subway restaurant on Jordan Lane. The vehicle driven by the offenders matched a vehicle of interest in the robberies in Madison.
Madison police detectives were able to establish information positively linking the offenders from Huntsville to the robberies in Madison. Madison police officers served warrants on Aug. 4 on the individuals in the Madison County Jail.
Each of the following individuals has a bond on the Madison charges for $180,000:
* Michael Ferguson, 22 years old, of Madison County.
* Evan Denison, 21 years old, of Madison County.
* A juvenile male who is 17 years old from Madison County.
