MADISON – Madison City Schools (MCS) is now accepting applications for substitute teacher.
School officials have been taking applications since Nov. 1 and will continue until Nov. 30.
These teaching slots can be suitable for parents who have a student enrolled in the MCS district and want to become more involved with the school community. The openings also may attract individuals who have retired from their primary career and to college graduates looking for flexible part-time work.
“From Nov. 1 through Nov. 30, we are accepting applications for anyone not currently substituting with Madison City Schools,” Public Relations Manager John Peck said. “We always have a need for quality substitutes to help our students continue to learn when their teacher has to be away from the classroom.”
