Sullivan aced walk-off grand slam

MADISON – Brayden Patrick Sullivan will always remember his walk-off grand slam.
“I got the ball that I hit, and I got to spend time with my dad and friends,” Brayden said.
For baseball, he plays first baseman, short stop and third baseman for Madison Baseball Association’s Phillies and Madison Machine.
In soccer, Brayden is a member of Club Independent and plays positions of stopper, sweeper and right half. He is a guard for Upward Timberwolves basketball. Also with Upward Sports, he plays center for the Cardinals in flag football.
“I don’t have a favorite sport,” Brayden said. “I like playing sports with my friends, and I like the competition.”
A third-grader at Heritage Elementary School, Brayden participates in the running club. Also students at Heritage, his sister Rowan is in fifth grade, and his brother Quinn is in first grade.
“My mom is a Title One Teacher at my school. My dad is an electrical engineer at the Mitre Corporation,” Brayden said. The Sullivans moved to Madison in 2004.

A: Chili’s, Wendy’s, McDonald’s and IHOP.
Q: What’s your favorite food?
A: Shrimp.
Q: What are your favorite sports teams?
A: Chicago Bears, University of North Dakota Fighting Hawks and Florida Gators.
Q: What do you like to do in your free time?
A: Brayden likes to “play video games; read; play basketball, baseball, football, soccer and flag football in the back yard; and watch University of North Dakota (UND) football on TV.”
