MADISON – Blue Pants Brewery has added a canning line.

Plans include starting the transition from bottles to cans with three beers: Chocolate Oatmeal Porter and its Amber that already are on the shelves and Hop Bursted IPA that soon will be available in cans.

Plans also include transitioning other beers from bottles to cans. “You’ll soon see several of Blue Pants Brewery’s beers in cans, but there will still be bottles on the shelves,” owner Michael Spratley said.
“We’re excited for all the opportunities and potential benefits that moving a lot of our products from bottles to cans will provide. To us, it means less worrying about shelf life and proper storage at stores where it’s difficult for us to control it,” Spratley said.
