Isaac Brooks sees soccer as competitive

MADISON – Isaac Brooks has focused his interest if athletics on one sport – soccer.

“I have played soccer since I was four and I am now eight years old,” Isaac said. “I am on the Madison Arsenal team. I like to play on the defense.”

Soccer appeals to Isaac because “it is lots of fun and very competitive.”

Isaac is a home-school student, and he is in third grade. “I am part of a LEGO Robotics team,” he said. Isaac has one brother, Davis, who is in fourth grade.

Dan and Ellen Brooks are their parents. “We moved to Madison in 2008, just a few months before I was born. My dad’s job brought us here,” Isaac said.

Q: What are your favorite restaurants?

A: “I like Sam and Greg’s Pizzeria and also Five Guys,” Isaac said.

Q: What are your favorite foods?

A: Pizza.

Q: What are your favorite sports teams? 

A: Isaac cheers for the Auburn Tigers for his college team and for the Carolina Panthers, based in Charlotte, N.C., for his professional football team.

Q: What is your favorite sports memory?

A: “My favorite is when we won a soccer tournament in Mobile,” Isaac said.

Q: What do you like to do during your free time?

A: “I like to play with LEGOs and play outside with my brother and my friends,” he said.
