Martin Street closed through Sept. 21

MADISON – Martin Street will close to through traffic between Wise Street and Cain Street on Sept. 7.

The street will remain closed until Sept. 21. The roadway must close to allow work crews to install water infrastructure.

Martin Street is one street south of Main Street in downtown Madison. The best detour will be to take Short Street to Shorter Street. Then, drive north on Garner Street and drive east on Lanier Road.
