Dublin to host Kris Kringle Market on Nov. 18

MADISON – Madison Arts Council and Madison Parks and Recreation Department are working together to present the Kris Kringle Market on Nov. 18 at Dublin Park.

“We are excited to help bring a cherished German and European tradition with international flair and local charm to Madison,” MAC President Tina Clark said.

The sale and show will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Dublin Park’s gym.

Kris Kringle Market will feature artisans and crafts people from across North Alabama. An Olde World Santa will attend to welcome guests. Youngsters can make German-inspired lanterns for the Children’s Parade in downtown Madison on Main Street on Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m.

Various food and drink options will be open for guests. Activities will be available to occupy and entertain the children while their parents shop in the market.

“We are excited to announce on the day of the event we will be giving away ‘Kris Kringle Market’ gift cards,” Clark said. “During the event, we will be giving away two $25 gift cards that you can use at the vendor of your choice during the market. Be sure to collect your raffle ticket when you arrive.”

MAC is asking local businesses and merchants to contribute items for swag bags that volunteers will hand out to the first 100 people who attend Kris Kringle Market. For information, call 256-426-0693 or email info@artsmadison.org.

Among the vendors at the market will be Jessica Nunno Art, Lisa Riccardi Studios, Miller Market Place with handmade signs, Creations by Ashley B, Soap Gardens & Gourmet Creations, Red Ribbon Decor, The Natural Glenn, ChromAddict Studio, LoopyChicCrochet, Crabtree Clay Creations, Christmas ornaments by Mixed and Found, For the Love clothing and jewelry, DotDotSmile children’s clothing and Gracie Saint and Company.

To-date, sponsors include Damson Automotive Group, Redstone Federal Credit Union and U-Lock-it Storage. Any business interested in serving as an event sponsor can email info@artsmadison.org.
