Show respect by placing flags for Memorial Day

MADISON – Members of Madison American Legion, Post 229 welcome residents to help place American flags on veterans’ graves for Memorial Day.

Madison Legionnaires will place flags at Madison’s three municipal cemeteries on May 26 at 9 a.m. All volunteers will assemble at Madison Memory Gardens, located just north of City Hall, 100 Hughes Road.

“Members of the Madison community are welcome to participate. Just come out if you are wanting to help out,” Post 229 Commander Carlos F. Woods said.
