Sign-up meetings on Aug. 28 will be held in the 5 Points Building of Asbury United Methodist Church, 980 Hughes Road. Kindergartners and first-graders will register at 5:30 p.m. Second-graders and older will meet at 6:30 p.m.

Troop coordinators for kindergarten and first grade are Neda Ballard and Caroline Doyle. For information, email SU212Daisy@gmail.com.

Cierra S. Jennings is serving as coordinator for second- and third-graders. For information, email SU212Daisy@gmail.com. Dusty Wayne is working with fourth-graders and older. For information, pchefdusty@hotmail.com.

“If a parent is unable to attend the event, contact the person listed for your girl’s appropriate age level for more information on having your daughter join a Madison troop,” spokesperson Staci Krupp said.

Girls Scouts is “where your G.I.R.L. (Go-getter, Innovator, Risk-taker, Leader) can transform her ideas into action, turn her questions into adventure and grow her confidence through practice,” Krupp said about the organization’s goal.
