Rocket City NerdCon to return with special guests

HUNTSVILLE — The Huntsville-Madison County Public Library announced that the fifth annual Rocket City NerdCon will be held Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. at the Downtown Huntsville Library.

For those who are new to the convention, Rocket City NerdCon is a celebration of all things nerdy. Those with a fanaticism for pop culture, comic books, movies, TV shows, books, games, collectibles, crafting, cosplay, LARPing and more that borders on obsessively nerdy will be sure to find something of interest at the event. The Rocket City NerdCon is also an opportunity to meet other people who “geek out” over similar subjects.

Special guests will include Isaac Marion, New York Times bestselling author of the novel-turned-movie, “Warm Bodies” and Kenneth Spivey, a sought-after industry “lost arts craftsman.”
