Dublin Park to begin hosting ‘Friday Night Chicken Fights’

MADISON — Dublin Park will begin hosting their series of Friday Night Chicken Fights tonight at 6:30 p.m. to bring some family fun to the pool area.

According to Samantha Magnuson, communications specialist for the City of Madison, activities will span beyond the chicken fights. Bull riding, Jenga, cornhole, football games, golf and much more will be available as well.

For those that can’t make it tonight, Magnuson said Friday Night Chicken Fights will take place every other Friday. All ages are welcome, and regular walk-in fees apply.

The family-friendly night of fun will take place at the dome of the outdoor pool at Dublin Park and last two hours.

“Now that we have the dome up over the outdoor pool, we have a lot more pool space available at Dublin Park all year long,” said Assistant Aquatics Director Chelsea Haraway. “(Aquatics Director) Chris (Lund) and myself want the pool to be used by the public as much as possible. … Friday Night Chicken Fights will be fun for all ages and a great first event for everyone to enjoy.”

Dublin Park is located at 8324 Madison Pike.
