Police identified the victim as Malachi Thomas McCray, age 18. His condition is not available at this time.

Decatur police are still investigating and said no arrests have been made as of this afternoon.

“At this time, the victim is still receiving medical attention,” police spokeswoman Emily Long said in a statement this afternoon.

Detectives have identified all parties involved in the incident, and there is no risk to the public, police said in the earlier release. The case will be forwarded to the grand jury for future consideration.
