PHOTO GALLERY – Battle of Madison (Discovery vs. Liberty football games)

MADISON – The Battle of Madison, the annual football match-up between cross-city rivals Discovery and Liberty middle schools was held Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Madison City Stadium. Discovery took the win in the 7th grade game, and Liberty won the 8th grade game to remain undefeated for the season. There were also great performances by each school’s color guard, band, cheer and dance teams. The evening sky put on its own show for the event with an amazing sunset. It was a fun night for both schools and their students, parents, staff and fans. Congratulations to both schools.
