Need help with a car seat? Madison Fire and Rescue can help

MADISON – Properly installing and using a child or infant car seat seems like it should not be complicated, but it often can be. Some studies say that between 75% to 96% of parents get it wrong. Different car seats have various restrictions and recommendations to install that particular car seat.

The personnel at Madison Fire and Rescue can help. According to Facebook post this week, they have spent the week training with some new Car Seat Technicians. “This training gives us more available personnel to be able to inspect and adjust car seats for you,” the post stated. “If you want to have your car inspected, tightened or need one installed, come by any of our stations.”
