UPDATE: There are 1,842 cases of coronavirus statewide
There are a total of 1,842 cases of COVID-19 in Alabama, according to the ADPH as of Monday, April 6, at 7:45 a.m. There are currently 337,933 cases of COVDI-19 nationwide, and 17,582 recovered, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Madison County has 137 cases and Limestone has 32 cases.
Of 45 deaths reported statewide, 32 have been confirmed as due to the virus across the state by the ADPH. The department also reports 240 total hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
