Wednesday evening COVID-19 update
There are a total of 4,149 cases of COVID-19 in Alabama, according to the ADPH as of Wednesday, April 15, at 6 p.m. There are currently 632,878 cases of COVID-19 nationwide, with 27,850 deaths and 51,160 recovered, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Madison County increased from 191 cases this morning to 194, with three deaths from the virus. Limestone County increased by one to have a total of 38 cases and no deaths.
Of 122 deaths reported statewide, 75 have been confirmed as due to the virus across the state by the ADPH. The department also reports 525 total hospitalizations due to COVID-19.
