ADPH reports no new cases of COVID-19 in Madison County since Wednesday
MADISON – Madison County has not seen an increase in new COVID-19 cases since Wednesday. The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) shows that 205 people in the county has tested positive since reporting began last month. Limestone has 40.
There have been four deaths associated with COVID-19 in Madison County and none for Limestone.
Fortunately, the rate of new cases has drastically slowed down over the past week and continues its downward slide.
There are a total of 5,832 cases of COVID-19 in Alabama. There have been 197 deaths due to the illness. The department also reports 768 total hospitalizations due to COVID-19 since March 13.
