Madison County has eight new cases of COVID-19 since Monday
MADISON – The number of COVID-19 cases has increased to 224, up eight cases since Monday morning. The Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH) shows that 7,714 people have been tested in the county since reporting began last month. Four people have passed away in Madison County due to the illness.
Limestone has 44 cases after 1,200 have been tested. There have been no reported deaths in the county from COVID-19.
There are a total of 6,943 cases of COVID-19 in Alabama. There have been 267 deaths due to the illness. The department also reports 963 total hospitalizations due to COVID-19 since March 13.
