Madison Utilities closing lobby again due to rising COVID-19 cases

Madison Utilities (MU) is closing their lobby at 101 Ray Sanderson Road to the public and will require all transactions to be handled through the drive thru. Officials with MU said this is in response to the rising number of corona virus cases in Madison County. They closed their lobby when cases first started rising in March and reopened them on May 26, but the recent surge in COVID-19 has prompted the lobby’s closure again. “Madison Utilities is taking this step to protect you and your families as well as our employees and their families,” a notice from MU stated.
