Tuberville to speak with Republican Women of Madison on Wednesday

MADISON – Tommy Tuberville, a candidate for U.S. Senate, will speak virtually to members of Republican Women of Madison at their monthly meeting on Aug. 19 at 11:30 a.m.

Tuberville will face incumbent U.S. Senator Doug Jones in the Nov. 3 general election.

“Due to scheduling conflicts, Coach Tuberville will be joining us via Zoom instead of in person. He will speak promptly at 11:30 a.m. We would love to have you join us in person,” President Sheila Banister said. Tuberville will discuss his plans not only for his campaign but also for the ways in which he will represent the people of Alabama in Washington D. C.

The meeting for Republican Women of Madison will be held at the Best Western Plus in Madison, 9035 Madison Blvd. Guests will observe social distancing practices. Seating is limited to 40 people.

The fee for lunch is $15, which guests can pay at the venue by cash or check. The club needs to know the attendance to expect so make a reservation by sending email to rsvp@rwmadison.org.

“For those who can’t attend or don’t feel comfortable joining us yet because of COVID-19, please consider joining us via Zoom,” Banister said.
