SNAPSHOT – Fun photos of creative school events in Madison
SNAPSHOT – From “Rock Your School” challenges to make learning fun, to catchy “Too Good For Drugs” themes, creativity has been in full display in Madison City schools. Check out these random pics from various MCS elementary schools. Heritage Elementary allowed kids to “slime” principal Georgina Nelson and assistant principal Nathan Wilson for the school exceeding a fundraising goal for new playground features. Several schools had “Red Ribbon Week” dress up days against drug use including at Midtown, Columbia and Horizon. Halloween themes also dominated, like at Rainbow Elementary where even pets were in costume. Mill Creek played up the “Rock Your School” campaign and had a teacher treat trail tied with its PTA meeting. You can find more fun school photos in next week’s print version of The Madison Record — in newsstands throughout Madison on Nov. 3.
