Main Event announces scavenger hunt with prizes to celebrate grand opening

Main Event will officially open its 46th family entertainment center at noon on Feb. 25 in Huntsville’s Bridge Street Town Center. To help celebrate the grand opening, Main Event has announced a special promotion

The nearly 50,000-square-foot venue features 22 state-of-the-art bowling lanes, each with unique technology and luxury seating, games, virtual reality experiences, high-flying gravity ropes and billiards. The Huntsville Main Event will also be one of the few Main Event centers in the country to have Multiball, a new attraction that combines digital gaming with interactive sports, a private VIP bowling lane, and an elevated bar area with clear sight lines so parents can have fun while watching their children.

A recent press release stated, “Main Event, somehow, somewhere along the way to the new Main Event Center located in the Bridge Street Town Center in Huntsville, the final shipment of bowling pins have been lost. And, Main Event is calling on all secret (or real) mystery solvers to help find these very valuable items. To be ready for opening day, these pins need to be found and we need your help to do it.”

Main Event said they will be releasing new information and clues about where the pins may be on its Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts – @mymainevent – until the pins are found. Main Event is offering an invitation to its VIP event for four as well as free games for a year to the first person to find each pin. One lucky pin finder will even win Main Event  for life.

“We hope everyone in the Huntsville community will help us search for our lost pins so that we can make sure this grand opening is an event the community will never forget,” said Justin Hutchins, General Manager, Main Event Huntsville. “We cannot wait to bring our one-of-a-kind experience to Huntsville. There is no other family entertainment center that can bring people together for a day or night of fun like Main Event. We need help finding these pins to make sure everything is ready to go.”

Main Event will offer everything from state-of-the-art bowling to laser tag to the latest in mini-golf, along with the latest in virtual reality plus more than 100 interactive video games. The Huntsville Main Event will also offer a full-service kitchen and bar with iconic food and beverages, such as Big Fun Super Sundaes and special Shirley Temples.
