Parking for city’s Star Spangled Celebration at Dublin Park moved to city stadium

The city of Madison sent out a notice Tuesday morning changing the location of parking for the July 2 Star Spangled Celebration at Dublin Park. Due to the repaving of the Bob Jones High School parking lot, they are moving the parking location to the Madison City Schools Stadium. A free shuttle service will still begin at 4:30pm and will shuttle people to and from the MCS Stadium and Dublin Park.

Madison’s Star Spangled Celebration

On Saturday, July 2, the city of Madison is hosting a patriotic extravaganza at Dublin Park. The event is free to attend and there will be inflatables, live music, food vendors, and fireworks to end the night. A free shuttle service starting at 4:30 p.m. will be provided to and from the Madison City Stadium for the event for parking. Everything kicks off at 5 p.m. and will the fireworks show will start at 9 p.m.

The Madison Parks and Recreation will also host a cornhole tournament and a pickleball tournament in conjunction with the festival. For more information about these competitions, click here or check out the Madison Parks and Recreation Facebook page.
