County Line Road Concert Series opens Sept. 4

MADISON – Grab your lawn chair, and head outdoors for a series of free concerts on Sundays in September at Heritage Church.

The annual County Line Road Concert Series will return for a chance to slow down, unwind and listen to great music, visit food trucks and experience a fun time with family – or solo. Heritage Church sponsors the event on their campus.

“The County Line Road Concert Series is a free, fall music festival open to everyone every Sunday in September from 5 to 7 p.m.,” Rev. Suzanne Katschke said. She and husband Michael Katschke are pastors of Heritage Church.

“We have food trucks, toys for the kids and coolers. Pets are welcome, and we have some of the best bands in town,” Rev. Suzanne said.

“Music is a unifier, being outdoors is relaxing, and something beautiful happens when we spend time together with no particular agenda,” Rev. Suzanne said. “Our main objective is to simply be together as people. All are welcome to join in the fun!”

For series’ first concert on Sept. 4, the Emily Joseph Band will entertain. This group performs a variety of cover music from the 1970s and today’s Top 10 hits. “Come and listen to Emily and her crew, and let them carry you back in time,” Rev. Suzanne said.

The Good Vibe Tribe at the Sept. 11 concert promises to swap some positivity, love and cool music for the serious negative energy in the world today. The ‘tribe’ believes their vibes can make the change.

Familiar to many people from local gigs, JED Eye will perform on Sept. 18. JED Eye asks, “Remember Classic Rock?” This energetic band covers all head-banging, spandex-wearing, big-hair classics from not that long ago. JED Eye urges people to come and rock out at the concert.

Seeking Babylon is the last band on the 2022 schedule with their Sept. 25 show. The band wants people to enjoy their amazing artistry and sweet vocal harmonies of Alli, Kira and Kati. Seeking Babylon promises that their audience will not be disappointed.

For a quick snack or a full meal, try one of the food trucks, including Sweet Temptations, The Slice Pizzeria, Forever Grateful and Badd Newz BBQ.

“Our objective is to provide a place for our community to gather, enjoy some music, and take a break from our hectic lifestyles,” Rev. Suzanne said.

Heritage Church’s address is 29768 Huntsville Brownsferry Road, one-quarter mile west of Walgreen’s on County Line Road. For more information, call 256-325-1700, email info@yourheritagechurch.com or visit countylineroadconcertseries.com or yourheritagechurch.com.
