Authors to lead library’s ‘Write on Writing Conference’

MADISON – A panel of local authors will take the lead in reviewing an age-old profession in the “Write on Writing Conference.”

Madison Public Library will host the conference on Oct. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Auditorium 1.

The library staff invites adults (19 years old and older) to join them for a morning of writing workshops. A panel of local fiction and non-fiction authors will lead the discussion.

The first session, “The Writing Process,” will run from 10 to 10:45 a.m. Participants then will learn about “Everything You Needed to Know About Finding a Publisher and Marketing Your Book” from 11 to 11:45 a.m.

The last activity from noon to 1 p.m. will be a time to “Meet & Greet With Authors.” The library staff is encouraging the authors to reserve a table and give participants a chance to buy a copy. To register for a table, visit calendly.com/madisonstudio/writing-conference.
