Columbia JROTC carwash to buy uniform basics

UPDATE: Due to weather, the car wash has been rescheduled for Sept. 21.

MADISON – The Junior ROTC Booster Club at Columbia High School hopes for a big turnout at their car wash in Madison next weekend.

Columbia JROTC’s car wash on Sept. 21 will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Jack’s restaurant, 145 Hughes Road in Madison.

“The funds we raise will go towards purchasing new T-shirts and uniform shoes for our JROTC cadets,” James Simmons said. He is JROTC Booster Club President.

“These items are crucial for ensuring our students look professional and feel confident while representing Columbia High School at various events and competitions throughout the year,” Simmons said.

The fundraiser goal is $3,500. “Help us reach our goal! We’re thrilled to host our car wash fundraiser and need your support to make it a success,” Simmons said.

Anyone who can’t attend the car wash can still contribute by donating online. Visit paypal.com/pools/c/97KqYqJDff.

“Every contribution makes a difference. Your support helps us provide the necessary uniforms for our dedicated cadets and enhances their experience,” Simmons said.
