SHMBA and Hays Farm to host community progress update event Oct. 9

HUNTSVILLE – There have been several ongoing retail and community developments around the Madison and Huntsville area. One such project has been Hays Farm in South Huntsville. The South Huntsville Main Business Association (SHMBA), in partnership with Hays Farm, will host a community progress update event on the developments there. The event will take place on Oct. 9 at 5 p.m. at the Grissom High School Auditorium.

This event will provide the community with an inside look at the progress made in the Hays Farm development and share upcoming plans that will further enhance South Huntsville. Attendees will hear directly from notable speakers, including:

  • Mayor Tommy Battle, City of Huntsville
  • John Hays, Hays Family
  • Councilwoman Dr. Jennie Robinson, City of Huntsville
  • David Garnett, Senior Director, Colliers Commercial Real Estate
  • Phil Riddick, Madison County Commissioner
  • Brenda Conville, Vice President of Real Estate, Freedom Real Estate and Capital, LLC

A major highlight of the event will be updates on the highly anticipated Hays Farm public park, as well as new developments regarding retail, business, and restaurant openings that are set to enhance the area.

“We are excited to share the significant progress made at Hays Farm and exciting things still to come,” said John Hays. “This development represents the culmination of years of work by the City of Huntsville and local businesses, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see the collective vision come to life in a way that benefits the South Huntsville community. We look forward to updating everyone on the next steps, especially with the public park, new retail spaces, and much more that will make Hays Farm a vibrant hub for residents and visitors alike.”

Refreshments and giveaways will be available for attendees, making it an engaging and informative evening for the entire community. The event is free to the public, and all are encouraged to attend to learn more about the ongoing growth and future plans for Hays Farm.
