Havoc season starts this week, “Meet The Team Night” set for Oct. 24

HUNTSVILLE- The final weeks of obtaining season tickets for the Huntsville Havoc hockey team are fast approaching and if those interested in grabbing a season’s worth of exciting professional hockey are quick about their choice they will be included in the exclusive Havoc Meet The Team Night scheduled for Monday, Oct. 24 from 5:00-7:00 PM in the VBC Propst Arena.

Presented by Lamica Realty, the event is open to season ticket holders and the general public and is expected to be an eye-opening experience where attendees are able to take a tour behind the scenes of the Havoc and just the overall facility at the Von Braun Center.

Opening in March 1975, the Von Braun Center has been the locale of some of the biggest names in sports and entertainment history, all of which used the backstage areas of the confines of the VBC, which were once the home to the City of Huntsville bus depot. The arranged Meet the Team event allows for attendees to scurry through the same hallways and rooms once populated by some of the most famous people to grace the community. The open house is free.

In attendance will be the players making up the 2024-2025 roster of the Havoc, which get underway with the home opener Friday, Oct. 25. Players will be available for photos and autographs and to just talk plain hockey. In addition, season ticket holders can pick up their personal gifts for the upcoming season.

Once arriving at the arena location, attendees can enjoy a selection of free food available throughout the scheduled event. As part of the one-night experience, attendees can be among the first to see the new giant videoboards recently installed in the arena as part of the lengthy overhaul of equipment in the VBC.
