CLAS issues district honors for Jennifer Flanagan, Piper Moore at James Clemens
MADISON – The CLAS organization or Council of Leaders in Alabama Schools has honored two staff members at James Clemens High School, Assistant Principal Jennifer Flanagan and Administrative Secretary Piper Moore, for their above-and-beyond service.
CLAS honored Flanagan as District Eight CLAS Assistant Principal of the Year, specifically for her work in development of James Clemens’ Re-Route program for academic turnarounds for failing students. Moore was recognized as District 8 CLAS Secretary of the Year for the many organizational tasks that she handles in James Clemens’ front office.
Founded in 1969, CLAS has focused on children, while providing high quality professional development and other needs for schools and system administrators. As Alabama’s premier organization for school leaders, CLAS represents 4,000-plus members. (clasleaders.org) A lifelong resident of Madison, Flanagan graduated from Bob Jones High School.
