North Alabama RC community celebrates inspiring achievement
HARVEST – The North Alabama Radio Control Association (NARCA) is celebrating a moment of extraordinary pride after longtime member Andrew Jesky claimed 1st place at the 2025 FAI F3A World Championships in Muncie, Indiana. His victory marks a defining milestone in a career built on discipline, passion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.
This year’s competition was Jesky’s eighth appearance at the World Championships, a rare achievement itself. For him, returning to the world stage is both a challenge and a cherished tradition, fueled by the excitement of meeting pilots from across the globe and witnessing innovation in precision aerobatics.
Jesky’s record speaks for itself, reflecting nearly two decades at the pinnacle of competitive RC aerobatics. His achievements include:
• 7-time U.S. F3A Nationals Champion • 8-time U.S. F3A World Team Member (2007–2023)
• 7-time U.S. F3A World Team Captain • 7-time Finalist and Top 8 Finisher at the World Championships These accomplishments place him among the most decorated F3A pilots in the country, and now, as the newest world champion, among the best in the world.
Back home at NARCA, Jesky’s win is much more than a personal milestone. It is a symbol of what passion looks like when paired with tireless effort.
Bob Seyboth, President of NARCA, says Jesky’s success is no accident. “Andrew has incredible passion and spends every evening in the summer perfecting his flying skills. His dedication is truly inspiring.”
Fellow club member Cliff Lanham echoed that admiration. “Andrew is a professional in all aspects and brings pride to the club. He sets the standard for what this sport can be.”
To those who fly with him, Jesky isn’t just a top-tier competitor. He’s a mentor, a leader, and a humble ambassador for the sport.
Jesky’s world title elevates not only his own legacy, but also the entire North Alabama RC community. NARCA members describe him as a role model whose achievements motivate pilots young and old to push their limits, refine their skills, and dream bigger than before.
His journey shows that success in precision aerobatics is shaped not only by talent, but by thousands of hours spent training, adjusting, and striving to master the skies.
As he returns home, Jesky carried the admiration of club members, fellow pilots, and fans across the region, a world champion whose impact reaches far beyond competition fields.
And for the North Alabama Radio Control Association, this moment is destined to be remembered as one of the proudest in its history.
