James Clemens indoor track and field records eight podium finishes at Ice Breaker meet

BIRMINGHAM – The James Clemens High track and field team opened the 2026 indoor season with a successful outing at the Ice Breaker Meet Jan. 3 at the Birmingham CrossPlex, recording eight medal winning podium finishes and 13 personal records.

Erihana Johnson led the Jets by winning the 60-meter dash in 7.44 seconds, establishing a new meet record and her second meet record of the season. London Hall earned bronze medals in both the 60m (7.55 PR) and 400m (57.79 PR).

Trinity Milligan captured gold in the triple jump and placed fourth in the long jump. Nadia Holmes earned bronze with a PR time of 2:25.92, and in the 800m, John Litavec placed sixth while improving his personal best by 10 seconds.

James Clemens athletes recorded personal bests across sprints, hurdles, jumps, throws, and distance events, reflecting strong early-season progress. The Jets will return to competition on January 19th at the Martin Luther King Indoor Track Classic.
