Nominate a deserving enterprise for chamber’s Best in Business Awards

MADISON – Madison Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for companies, groups and individuals that are deserving recipients for 2026 Best in Business Awards.

“The awards are your chance to recognize the leaders, entrepreneurs and organizations making a lasting impact in our community. The Madison Chamber’s annual signature celebration of excellence is open” for Madison’s thriving businesses, President Michelle Epling said.

The Space Camp Operations Center at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center will be the gala’s venue on April 14. “We’re setting the stage for an elegant and memorable evening. Guests will enjoy great company as we spotlight the businesses and individuals helping shape Madison’s future,” Epling said.

These awards span a variety of categories to honor business professionals’ achievements and their impact throughout the year. “The Best in Business Awards reflect the heart of the chamber’s mission to celebrate, inspire and connect Madison,” Epling said.

Individuals can nominate within these categories: • Start-Up Business of the Year – In partnership with The Catalyst Center for Business & Entrepreneurship.

• Best Retail Small Business of the Year.

• Best Service Small Business of the Year.

• Best Food/Beverage Business of the Year.

• Best in Arts & Entertainment.

• Best in Wellness – Open for fitness studios, spas, salons and other businesses that promote a healthy lifestyle.

• Best in Healthcare – To recognize outstanding medical offices.

• Best Non-Profit of the Year.

• Best Minority-Owned Business of the Year.

“We encourage chamber members and community partners to take part in the nomination process and help us celebrate the businesses and leaders who continue to elevate our community. Whether you’re nominating a fast-growing start-up, a longstanding business, a nonprofit making a difference or a leader creating meaningful impact, this is your opportunity to help us (identify) the best of Madison,” Epling said.

Nominations are based on the business’ leadership and community support, involvement with the chamber, business success and overall deservedness, according to chamber guidelines.

Nominations close at 4:30 p.m. on Feb. 20.
