Madison Mayor Ranae Bartlett presented a proclamation at the April 27 city council meeting to President of the Madison Chamber of Commerce Michelle Epling.
According to the proclamation, “in the North Alabama area, which includes the City of Madison there are 9,924 establishments with less than 500 employees, 83.2% of those have less than 50 employees” and “those businesses with less than 50 employees employ 9,285 of our residents.”
“The mission of the Madison Chamber of Commerce is to celebrate, inspire, and connect Madison each and every day, and so, we are so honored to celebrate our small business owners, help educate them, provide them networking opportunities, and continue to celebrate Madison alongside council and mayor each and every day,” said Epling.
