Sharon Cobb to speak at Madison Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Business Over Breakfast’ next Wednesday

MADISON – In a session coordinated by Madison Chamber of Commerce, the “Business Over Breakfast” event will feature a technical expert from NASA.

“Register today for the next Business Over Breakfast, presented by Cepeda. We are so excited to welcome special guest Sharon Cobb, Associate Program Manager of NASA’s Space Launch System (SLS),” Chamber President Michelle Epling said.

The event on July 15 will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Jackson Center, 6001 Moquin Drive in Huntsville.

In her work, Cobb assists with overall programmatic and technical planning, coordination, management and integration activities. She has been involved with development of SLS or Space Launch System, which is NASA’s super heavy-lift rocket that has been designed for deep space exploration.

SLS is the only rocket that can send Orion, astronauts and supplies to the moon in a single launch.

Event sponsors include Presenting Sponsor — Cepeda; Silver Sponsors — Woody Anderson of Madison, Redstone Federal Credit Union, Uniti Fiber and Legend Realty; Economic Update Sponsor Coldwell Banker and CK Mann Realty; Registration Sponsor — First National Bank; and Non-Profit Spotlight Sponsor — Burritt on the Mountain.
