Madison Library and Madison History Association to host historical ghost stories with Robert and Jacque Reeves

MADISON – Join Madison Library and Madison History Association for historical ghost stories with Robert and Jacque Reeves.

Robert Reeves, retired news anchor with WHNT Channel 19 in Huntsville, will talk about the Bell Witch, perhaps the most well-known haunting in America. John Bell and his daughter Betsy were the recipients of malevolent events by a spirit that eventually claimed the life of John Bell and sang bawdy songs at his funeral. The Bell family lived near Adams, Tennessee and Robert will tell little known facts about the frightening events suffered by the Bell family.

Jacque Reeves, past president of the Huntsville-Madison County Historical Society, Descendants of Washington’s Army at Valley Forge, and Maple Hill Cemetery Stroll. She has written books on history, true crime, and ghost stories. Jacque will talk about the angry ghost inside the Madison County Courthouse, and a World War I soldier shot through the eye.

If time permits, there will be more stories! Robert and Jacque Reeves are co-founders of the Huntsville Ghost Walk.
